Choosing among the Audi Q5 trim levels isn’t as big of a challenge as you may think at first. There are five main trim levels plus the performance-oriented SQ5, but each has its own capabilities and features, providing something for everyone.
We can help you find and test drive any of the Q5 models listed below at Jack Daniels Audi of Upper Saddle River. We have one of the largest Audi showrooms in the country. Our staff of professional brand ambassadors will be happy to help you navigate it on your next visit.
Which Audi Q5 Should You Buy?
2.0T Premium
Like all Q5 models, the 2.0T Premium has quattro® all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This trim level runs on a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
Every Q5 also has:
- LED taillights and running lights
- Heated exterior mirrors
- Aluminum roof rails and crossbars
- Automatic wipers
- Panoramic sunroof
- Power liftgate.
The 2.0T Premium Q5 also builds a solid foundation for interior features. The base trim gives you:
- 8-way power front seats
- 4-way power lumbar for the driver
- Leather upholstery
- Tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel
- 40/20/40 sliding-and-reclining rear seat
- Tri-zone climate control
- Audi’s MMI® interface
- 10 speaker sound system
- Auxiliary audio
- Bluetooth®
- CD player
This car is an excellent choice for first-time Audi owners or first-time crossover owners. If you know you want more space in the trunk as well as more power and comfort in your driving experience, this is a good place to start.
2.0T Premium Plus
The 2.0T Premium Plus builds on the Q5 2.0T Premium, adding some unique trim, power-folding and auto-dimming exterior mirrors, and keyless entry plus ignition. It also has an auto-dimming rearview mirror, driver memory, and heated front seats.
This trim level is the next step up for those seeking added convenience on the road.
3.0T Premium Plus
The first difference you will notice between the 3.0T Premium Plus and the 2.0T Premium Plus is the upgraded engine. The 3.0T has a 3-liter supercharged V6 instead of the 2-liter engine. This V6 generates 272 horsepower and 295 pound-feet.
Other than that, it matches the features of the 2.0T Premium Plus, so if you like what that model has to offer but want more power, this is your sweet spot.
3.0T Prestige
The Prestige adds Audi Drive Select®, adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, a cooled and heated cup holder, and advanced technology, like navigation, parking sensors, Wi-Fi capabilities, and blind spot monitoring. If you like a car with more technology, this will get you started.
2.0T Hybrid Prestige
As the name implies, the Q5 2.0T Hybrid Prestige runs on a hybrid powertrain that combines the 2.0T engine with a battery pack and 54-horsepower electric motor for 245 net horsepower, 350 pound-feet of torque, and an EPA estimated 26 mpg combined.
The Q5 hybrid offers greater fuel economy to people otherwise satisfied by the features on the Prestige edition.
SQ5
Those in search of next level performance will appreciate the Audi SQ5’s 3-liter supercharged V6 engine with 354 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. You can enjoy the SQ5 as a Premium Plus or Prestige trim, with features more or less lining up with those on the similarly named trims of the Q5.
The SQ5 also includes a number of visual enhancements, inside and out.
